As I further educate myself on device modding, some things that show that I am still somewhat of a noob are evident. So apologies for the possibly seemingly stupid question.
I have a Galaxy Tab S2 with Sprint and the service contract has ended. I have NO DESIRE to renew it and as of now there is no service to it. What can or can I not flash to this device if I do not care if the CDMA/LTE radio never works again, but I do not want to break wifi or brick the device obviously?
It is on the Lollipop stock and is currently driving me nuts with constant warnings about not being connected to data and that I need wifi (duh). Can someone recommend a good Rom that is wifi only that will not brick my device? Can I flash the stock touchwiz meant for the wifi only variant if I do not care about the LTE radio? Is there an AOSP or other TouchWiz rom (fine with either) that would work?
