Orientation support in Android Box

I am new to this community and Android devices. I have recently bought Android Box device in which I want the following 3 features.

1. Orientation switching

   • I need a switch from where I can change screen orientation between landscape and portrait
   • I tried installing apps that claim to enable orientation rotation option but does not work. How do I get this feature?

2. Retain time

   • This device has American Trends BIOS version 2.16.1242
   • Core BIOS version 5.008
   • When I set the time in BIOS and start the device, wrong time is shown for a few seconds and then the time is corrected automatically. I think the OS gets the correct time from BIOS
   • I don't want to device to be dependent on time for BIOS. Can anything be done about this?

3. Remove scrolling wallpaper

   • There is not option to remove the scrolling wallpaper and have the good old single screen wallpaper. How do I get this?

I don't want to root the device. How many of these issues can be solved without rooting?
