GifWidget is our home screen customization app that lets you animate a gif inside a home screen widget.
You can use any gif from your device or find more using the integrated Giphy browser. Also trying Google image search can be a good idea as you can search only for transparent animations there.
There is a free and a pro version of the app: the only difference is that in the free version you can use just one gif at a time (you can, however, use the same gif in many widgets e.g on different home screens).
