I don't know why, but my old Nexus S doesn't boot up any more. It is doing boot animation endlessly and doesn't go forward. When I go to recovery I get a picture of a dead droid with red exclamation mark. The device is not rooted and locked :(
The point is that I'd like to save my photos from the device before flashing with a new ROM. This seems impossible because the boot loader is locked. Unfortunately unlocking requires a full system wipe. Moreover the device is not accessible through USB.
Is there any way to boot up the device for example in safe mode or so?
