My wife's HTC One had some security software installed on it by her company so she could access their email. While removing that software the phone went into a loop which displays a message "Enter password to Decrypt Storage". Then no matter what password I enter it says "This is the correct password however storage is corrupted. Then it boots to the boot loader. Any action I take returns me to the Enter Password to Decrypt Storage" message and the loop starts again.
I have even tried Factory Reset but that fails as well.
This is a verizon HTC One so of course locked down. Boot loader: locked and s-on. So do I have any hope to recover this device.
All the methods I read about to root etc require installing an app, so that can't happen.
