I'm trying to Jailbreak my Surface RT 8.1 & having a problem.
1. I boot & go to the desktop where the unzipped Jailbreak Tool is.
2. I run the runExploit.bat file.
3. I type R to run the exploit.
I then get the following message:
"Error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.
Waiting for the uptime to reach two minutes"
A moment later, the message continues:
"Error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.
Waiting for the uptime to reach two minutes
Trying to get Signing Level offset. If this part hangs please ensure that you are connected to the internet. An internet connection is only required for the first time the jailbreak is ran."
Then the command prompt just exits & jailbreaking doesn't happen.
Even when I am connected, I get the 1st message above.
1. Why do we need to be connected to the internet?
2. Why is this not working?
By the way: why can't we attach pictures to our threads?
