Hey guys, I'm looking for some help with my Moto X's microphone. It works great for most functions like phone calls, video recordings, sound recorder apps, etc, but won't work for Google speech recognition. Anytime I want to do a Google voice search, compose a text message via speech, or use a keyboard's speech to text button, I have to get VERY close to the rear mic to make anything happen. When I go to http://ift.tt/1nL6r2E my searches are incredibly quiet. Even with my pc at full volume, my searches sound like a whisper.
I've been using two ROMs, OctOS-M and AICP 11. Both have had this issue despite multiple clean installs and trying different versions.
Does anyone have an idea what's happening here? Why is Google hearing my mic so quietly? I miss my voice actions! :crying:
